Okay, for everybody else who is still awake, I should have the visual portion of the art scene done tonight. After that, the rest is just sound work and basic actionscript.
It has taken me a couple of days longer than anticipated to do the visuals on the art scene. Like everything else in this flash, the quality has improved greatly since the last installment and good work takes time.
I think I can have this thing wrapped up in a couple of days. Suffice it to say, If I don't have this thing done by next Saturday, then there's a problem.

burby8100 just be patient man. R1665 is working as fast as he can. I'm sure he will get it up on NGs in no time. Just be cool and wait man. He's got the art and has almost finished. If there is one thing that I have learned about flash is that when you think you've finished, there will always be something else that has been left undone or can be tweaked a little. I know... it's annoying but it happens. So just chill. I'm definitely sure that R1665 will be done before the end of August. Then we can all mass-vote 5 stealing the award from somebody more deserving - lol! (Sprite-a-Rant).
I'll be done before August 8th. That shouldn't be a problem.
Oh, and I am indeed working fast now. Alvin-Earthworm has mentioned that he thinks his next episode of SMBZ should be ready by mid to late August. I really don't feel like having to compete with him.

Alvin Earthworm is good, and famous for his movies, but once your movie gets around newgrounds, I'm preeeetttyyy sure you could be just as popular, if not more. August 8 sounds like a good deadline to me!

The visual portion of the story scene is complete, as well as 90% of the actionscripting. I need only dissect one more person's lines in Audacity - my own.

So, yes... All of you fans, I'm the one to blame for the delays. But, before breaking out the torches and pitchforks, you'll have it soon enough and it WILL be worth it. I promise.
For those of you worried about the art scenes, I will say this: The sketchy look of the previous episode has been ousted. It didn't quite get the look I was hoping for. I was trying to go for 30 Days of Night and it became 30 Pixels of Fright... (30 pixels of-? Who the F^&*#@! Writes this S@#&!? Dude, you're fired! Union, my ASS! You're toast!)
Anyway, it's a much cleaner look. A Vast improvement.
How soon will they have it? That depends on admin.
I'll put up a new news post tomorrow before work. Right now I'm more inclined to pass out on my couch.
