how long does it take to familiarize yourself animating with certain characters?
from your update posts it would seem like you just dive right in.

I usually do.
MK characters generally share many of the same basic moves. That makes familiarizing myself with them much easier. You might notice that my fights usually start a little stiff and loosen up as I go along and get used to the characters.
You can usually tell that I've hit that "sweet spot" when the characters start performing more intricate fighting sequences. That's when you start seeing them really throw down in close quarters.

What better place to have "the bloodiest, deadliest, and most violent sprite fight in the history of flash animation." then in a mk setting. Pure win :D. Thx for the update and responses.
I know i left a comment before but I was watching the episode 2 again and was loving all of it. you sir have became another notch of inspiration along side with peroxide to learn making flash and animation
is it done yet? 0_0...
You mentioned in a reply to someone that voice acting in general is set in stone. What about the art style for the scenes. will they still be changing? Because to be honest, the art for the story segment in pt. 2 could've been better.
The art style is a developmental process. Like everything else, it's a game of trial-and-error.
From what I've seen of the art so far, there is nothing to worry about for Episode 3.
