Baraka, he's one of the more memorable characters, Jade is just a throwaway character to me

Hulk Hogan, he'd own them all, don't you think?

I'm done with the first Art scene of TUPT-3.
2 sprite scenes to go.

2 months I guess.

Baraka. I really like his blades that dices people up. And he's much more mean looking. You can think of a lot of gruesome fatalities with Baraka.

Baraka because he is gangsta lol jk

Whew! Just completed two scenes for the day - a personal best. Baraka's scene is now complete and I appreciate the input.

I now have just under nine minutes of content in nineteen character-specific scenes. I need to do only three more scenes and I can start wrapping this thing up.

Just so everyone knows, nearly all of the MK cast will be making an appearance. This is gonna be EPIC.

Release: approximately 12pm noon (EST) on March 1st, 2011.

"nearly all of the MK cast" - R1665, you cannot just randomly put all of them inside. I hope they have a story or purpose because that seems like way too many characters to place into one tiny flash. :-/

Who said this was tiny? There are going to be over twenty selectable character scenes and nine to ten minutes of content. It is well over 10,000 frames and over 10 MB in size.

Nothing tiny about it!

Watch him! XD

Looking forward to it..and Hauzer ftw.

Hey all, for any of you who are wondering how Marvel VS Capcom 3 is, I don't really reccomend buying it. The story mode is way too easy to beat, I beat it 8 or 9 times in 2 hours and then got bored with that mode...

Then I went online only to find out that you cant spectate other battles in a ranked match, so you basically just sit there and wait for 5 minutes, or even LONGER if theres 4 or 5 people in the lobby. Come on, even Marvel VS Capcom 2 let you spectate.... That pretty much ruined the online for me because I am a canadian, and canadians shouldnt even play fighting games. Leave that to the apanese people and the americans who at least can pull off some combos that take more skill than button-mashing.

So, BEING a canadian player, I find it very helpful to spectate people and watching new combos especially because I have a knack for being able to tell which buttons theyre pressing. But that got trashed with this game.

And if I went into a ranked match I'd just get destroyed.......

So, if you can hold your own weight in a fighting game, you might enjoy this game but if your a casual gamer, I'd reccomend waiting for Mortal Kombat 9.

Also, not that it really makes or breaks the game as long as they have SOME good characters, but they wasted a lot of their slots on VERY useless characters. Examples include MODOK, Viewtiful Joe, Taskmaster, Super Skrull and She-Hulk. Trthfully, the only new additions I really enjoyed were Amaterasu, Daedpool and Zero. They have SOOOOO many awesome characters they could have added in for BOTH sides, that every slot wasted is a HUGE drawback, and they wasted too many.

Not too mention that my two personal favourites, Gambit and Venom, are NOWHERE to be seen. Great.

This bullshit just gets me more pumped for MK9! Mortal Kombat has always kicked capcoms ass in my opinion.

w00t! I have finished the final selectable scene!

That makes twenty-one scenes, nine and a half minutes of kontent, 11800 frames, and 11.8 MB. I now have four days to make the intro, credits, and menu system.

Time to wrap this beast up!

But Mini Dude I like Viewtiful Joe and then theres Dante being awesome as always but were the heck is the Fantastic Four you have Super Skull,Doom,Freakinking Galatacis is the final boss for crying out loud marvel just being weird not saying why the cant be in there. Also the gameplay is just a blast but there talking about competitive play and I just think the new combo system is just too exploitative.

Yikes I need to spell check more often.

The new combo system is too damn easy.

You take someone like me who cant pull off a 5-hitter in MvC2 and now I'm pulling frickin air combos out my ass by rapidly pressing two buttons.

Im all for that, but if I can do that, wheres the challenge?

Off Topic:

Marvel VS Capcom 3 is Sick. The women are too hot. xD Trish

I picked up MvC3 as a rental because somebody told me that it had a sound test mode. The good news: It does indeed have a sound test mode. The bad news: The characters' lines are so ridiculously cliche that I would sooner use speakonia than put any of them in a flash.

My first hour review of MvC3:
Graphics - 7/10
Playability - 3/10
Sound - 4/10

It seems slightly more playable than MvC2 was, but not by much. The 3-vs-3 system (which I hate SOOOO much) is still mandatory. The play style of the game is so much a light show blur that I would have to snort at least three lines of cocaine to keep up with it. My only real strategy is to button-mash like crazy and hope for the best.

If you're a teenager being pumped with adrenaline intravenously, then go for it. If you're an adult casual gamer, pass.

Prediction: The new Mortal Kombat is going to blow this out of the water.

It... is... DONE! Mortal Kombat FAILtality drops this Tuesday!

BE THERE!

R1665

on mvc 3 i agree with you on everything but the controls. the controls are dumb easy. a combo is as simple as just doing a circle starting from the left button. (square on ps3 i forget on 360) and simple mode is retarded easy. its so simple i hate the game for it it. 1 buttons combos 1 button specials 1 button super and .i forgot what x does in simple mode

Since you said you like B-rate characters what do you think of kung lao and ermac of mortal kombat.

Kung Lao is hardly B-rate. He's been in almost every MK game since MKII. As for Ermac, I could take him or leave him.

Also, I don't necessarily like B-rate characters just because they're B-rate. It just so happens that "A-rate" characters are usually called so because they are popular. Popularity does not necessarily mean "original", "unique" or "good". It never did.

Shotoclones.

I rest my case.
