I can honestly say, this has got me itching down to my spine. Heh.
As for the new MK9 ninja clones, I think it's more tolerable than the shoto clones, their designs may be the same, their playing style and movelists are different. As for the shoto clones, only ones I like are Sean and Sakura, they're more of the technical styles of the shoto clones.
Now I'm not sure which is more hateful, the Kyo clones from KOF, Shoto clones from Street Fighter, or the ninja clones from Mortal Kombat. For more, I really don't like the way Capcom is using half of the roster filled with shoto clones, it's like Capcom is stuck in the 90s with their never-evolving characters.
Needless to say, episode 3 should be a rocket-buster. I await the episode, and to YouTube. Heh.
I really don't consider Sakura a "shoto clone". That's probably because my definition is a bit different from the standard one. Mine isn't based on moves. It's based on headswaps.

I really dont care if Krueger doesn't have anything to do with MK. I'm excited that he is in in it. I've always wanted to play Freddy in a videogame. The only reason most people are pissed that the fourth character is Freddy is that THEIR favourite character isn't the 4th dlc character. I just hope that they went all out on Freddy.

DLC characters are 5 bucks apiece. My personal opinion is that they are worth 2.50 or 3 dollars. They have all the standard stuff like a complete moves list, finishers and arcade ending, but they don't talk, they don't appear in the Nekropolis unless one goes another way to see their model but no stats, they don't have alternate costumes and one cannot select their 2p colors.

A new character will last me maybe 2 hours of gameplay before I get bored of it. No deal.
Honestly im not cheap but i would just rather spending my money on the next game than waste my time getting characters who will probably be in the next installment. But speaking of next installment i kinda got a feeling like if they do guest characters again for the consoles that the 360 character would kinda be cooler than the ps3. Mainly because the ps3 got a character and the xbox didn't. Oh yea and Ed Boon has been thinking of bringing the shaolin monks series back that will be awesome.
