This idea of .5's in a sprite flash series, is seriously friggen genius. I don't ever recall something like this ever being done in a sprite flash series, ever. I love this idea because the way I look at it, you're taking something that is familiar to everyone, and turning it into something new, something that I haven't seen before from sprite animators. While some people might not like it, I actually love seeing new and innovative things being done.

The part that got me most intrigued was the one referring to "a centralized source", where you'll materialize new contents for your animations. I'm sure you will think of something that'll emphazise the depth and work dedicated to this series. Altough you said more info would come later, I'll boldly ask for a..hint of things to come?
I cannot stress how anxious I am to see your new acquired skills! You referred that the content of the fight in VGE3 was, by the time the episode got out, outdated and you had already developed new ways to pave an even more fantastic and entartaining fights. Well, not exactly by those words, but certaintly by those intentions, I believe.
I wish you both a good work. When VGE4 will come out, if it is your pleasure I'll be sure to write my review, tackling how did you fare against that challenge you proposed to yourself.

do you think the first mortal kombat movie gets a bad rap?
I don't know anybody who seriously digs on the first Mortal Kombat. It was a great movie, and not just compared to the low bars set for game-to-film adaptations.
Now, Mortal Kombat Annihilation? THAT was a steaming pile. (Except for Sandra Hess fighting in mud. That part was nice...)

More in-depth story. That's not to say that the point fives won't have action as a rule. It's just that the full-length sprite fights will be exclusive to the main episodes.
