Haha, I actually find it rather ironic that the 'life-bars' are not the cause of this delay. I guess you should add the lifebars now I mean; you have nothing to lose!
Nah. I don't see myself ever using lifebars again. I don't need them.
Besides, if somebody is paying attention to the lifebars, then they aren't paying attention to the action. Personally, I cannot focus on both at the same time.

I agree with you. Lifebars are just another limit. Once their health hits zero, it's game over. Without them, you can really go at it. And this sounds like you're pulling out all the stops. So, yeah.
I never liked the lifebars as you said it's hard to watch them and the action. I feel lifebars are not need because your making a flash not game and how real is it when this guy does a 100 punch combo that should reduce your bar down to zero and this guy takes him out with only ten major hits. So no this is not a shot to trix or anybody else that uses them just I would'nt use them it's a waste of time to me.

Yeah, I know it's overdue. There's just not much that I can do about it. All I can do is wait patiently for the art to be completed.
I will say that this unexpected delay allowed me the chance to recruit another voice actor. It fixed a problem I had with a character that I was having trouble getting a proper voice for. If nothing else, that development made the delay useful.

Yes, I changed the color schemes on several of the characters that you will see. It's hard to sell the idea of these being alternate realities if everything looks "normal".
I assume that the "guy with the light blue hair" that you are referring to is Remy. He was one of the new Street Fighter characters introduced in Street Fighter 3. I don't care much for the character, but his name gave me the chance for some excellent subterfuge!

For question 2 in your first exiles in your character bios thingy u said that liu kang was a traitor or something does that mean he will ever show up in the series?
Oh, what the hell... I guess I can let a few things out early regarding my plans considering that Episode 2 is 99.9999999% done (slight exaggeration...).
1. Yes. Another MK character will be headlining the fight in Episode 3. It will be another "MK vs. SF" fight. After that, I'm going to start focusing on characters from other games. Every battle in the multiverse can't be fought between 7695 and 6013.
I cannot reveal who the character is or how the character will be presented, but it will indeed be a Mortal Kombatant.
2. On Johnny's world, Liu Kang betrayed Earthrealm by siding with Shang Tsung during the Mortal Kombat tournament. Johnny later killed both of them. That version of Liu Kang was just one of a conceptually infinite number of Liu Kangs in the multiverse.
Liu Kang is a character that I can't form a strong opinion on regarding his usefulness to the Exiles storyline. I used to hate him because out of all of the MK characters, he was always the "Chosen One" and the others were just there for support. I hate that kind of "hero" treatment. I actually started liking the character a little after he died and was resurrected as a psychotic zombie.
On the plus side, he has a very good MK3 sprite set and is very rarely seen in the world of Flash fights. I could do a lot with him. However, the character is a bit too "A-list" and one-dimensional for my taste. I could make a good fight with him, but not much else. Liu Kang has very little personality for me to play around with.
Yeah, I can take a happy-go-lucky, comic relief movie star and turn him into a brooding, detached, cynical, uncaring asshole. It's that deviation that legitimizes the concept and makes it believable. There's not much I can do if the character in question has very little personality to begin with.

see that's what I really like about you R1665 you take the characters that most sprite artist won't use and make them into something else. I remember you said you won't make ken & ryu the main characters of your flashes not saying nothing is wrong with them. But as I said before I wanted to see alot more SNK characters because I believe they fit the personalty of cool people today... well atleast back inthe 90's. The one cool and about snk is that there are alot of characters to choice from to be the hero and to be the villian because they have so many series under snk it's a shame. so still good luck this weekend.
i think the best thing about you as a flash artist is that you keep your many fans up to date. While for example Alvin earthworm practical disappeared before his latest installment.
