My original plan was to give Sakura a much less active role. However, once I got to that point, I found myself thinking, "Sakura is always shown as being a less-effective amateur. Let's see what we can do about this..."
She had just watched Gambit kill three of her friends. I thought she deserved to tear off a few pieces of Gambit's ass.
I have no regrets about that ending. Sakura and Talbain would have had to work together to take down a top mutant like Gambit.

Your good at teasing us and making us excited about seeing the new release, but we've all been waiting for this news update as much as you've wanted to do it :D. As you said, its how the fights should have been put together since the beginning, no dramatic saves or protections or other bullshit ways to kill the ending, and again does a great job of teasing us and making us want to see the damn thing. Another month is going to kill me. I remember when i saw ep. 0 and was surprised as shit to see what you did with Johnny Cage (as were the people who I showed it to), so I have no doubts that it will possibly be the greatest thing to come out of newgrounds in a long time.

oh cool, I just read what you write and I happy to see that it will not have some second wing . I was in ''Tabarnak'' when i saw in mk vs sf 2 that akuma kill scorpion just after he beat ryu . Scorpion was supposed to win and kill ryu .... but it is done. I know with you that it will be a battle that is fair, brutal and intense. Good work man by the way, Tabarnak is bad word in french lol

Well, it's not TRULY one-on-one as other characters occasionally get involved (...athough not for very long... heh, heh...).
Suffice it to say, the winner will claim victory by their own ability. The identity of the superior fighter will not be in doubt at the end.

I'm nearing the end of what I can do on this flash, myself. I still have to wait on the voices and artwork. My release date really depends on how soon I can get that art.
If I end up having to wait a little while longer than expected for the art, I will simply start preparation for Episode 4. I have to intention of wasting the potential down time.

Yup. It's also entirely possible that could happen again. The artwork is a bottleneck. 3XStudios has a lot less free time on his hands than I do. Either way, any extra time taken will not go to waste. I could certainly get a head start on the library-building process of Episode 4 while I'm waiting.

I've actually found that practice isn't the key to getting better in flash. Practice will only solidify one's current abilities. The key to getting better in flash is to understand the program so well that you can quickly incorporate new techniques or develop your own shortcuts.
In fact, practice can actually hurt you. The longer you do any particular technique, the harder it is to adapt to new ones. You have to stay flexible.

It'll work much like the previous one, too. It's an upgrade, not a complete overhaul.
Being a series, each Episode (1 - end) is going to have a similar, yet visibly unique interface. I consider this particular "look" to be one of my signatures.

Ay almost forgot u should check out my page I got an updated with on of my personally hand drawn sprites & I gotta say that it looks as good as, if not better than the best SF sprites ( Acording to every one I've showed it to thus far ).

As I've said in the past, I really liked your episodes 1 and 2 (zero was ok, but that was obviously you developing skills). You've really hyped up this episode, which is risky because it means everyone's standards are going to be higher, so you're going to have to deliver far beyond episode 2. Also, you've told us some of the plot details (little things, but it still takes away some of the surprise factor), so that adds to the difficulty of bettering your episode 2.
So basically, you seem to have a little hubris... it can be healthy. I hope your next episode is as good as you profess it to be.
For what it's worth, I think your episodes are a little than Proxcides. Granted, his are older and laid the foundations for some of this quasi-genre. I'm glad you want to get rid of his 'cheap' endings (the first one or two times they work well, after that it's hard to convince the audience that a surprise isn't in store).

It's not so much hubris as it is a desire to make monthly updates that are worth reading. I personally find it a bit annoying when animators go for long periods without updates or are otherwise out of communication. Like everyone else, I enjoy knowing what my favorite animators are up to.
