I loved it, every second of it. The character selection thing was great fun too, but you know I honestly expected the question mark to be a secret character I would unlock for watching all of the other characters. Turned out it was just the credits.
Not that there's anything WRONG with credits... They're just not as cool as secret characters.
Awesome animation though, it seriously did feel like it was just a part of the game. A hilarious part of the game.
I considered putting in a "secret" scene, but that would be counter-productive. While I did at one point plan to put an Easter Egg in Episode 3 (later released as its own flash), I do not really care for Easter Eggs as a whole.
If you want something to be seen, put it out in the open. If you don't want it to be seen, leave it out.

while watching it, i almost forgot you made it, because of what i am used to seeing from you, that is, until i saw Stryker bash the hell out of Akuma's head, and then i was like yeah, R1665 definately made this xD

Especially the Liu Kang one. On the event that you decide to do more side projects, I hope you do include more scenes featuring Talbain and Sonya. I'm all for the blood and gore, but it also kinda brings out this sort of... "non cannon" non cannon happy ending type of deal--dunno how to describe it properly, lol.
Also....is there any possibility of us seeing any Killer Instinct characters in your animations?

I loved every second of it, and its great because the animation was so modern. I go back and watch a bunch of the old MK spoofs and a lot of the jokes I see in those really dont make me laugh at all because they're just so old.
So the modern jokes like the Hardline Pro were really great and I hope you inspired people with this animation so that people start doing MK spoofs again. Also, best of luck on getting frontpaged and awards and everything like that.
I have to say the funniest scene for me was when Stryker "bashed on his head until he could see tonsils." That was so unexpectedly brutal that I was practically jumping out of my chair laughing!
If you ever have some more free time on your hands while you're waiting for artwork, definately make another.
One more thing, I loved your blood effects where it flew onto the screen! I really hope to see more of that in your Exiles episodes. In my opinion, the bloodier it is, the better!
Oh, the Exiles will be getting a LOT more brutal from here on in. THERE WILL BE BLOOD.

R1665 dude, I have 2 more questions for you about your flash making. You have been a great help to me and I have been working on mine but I have hit a brick wall.
1) when your aking your fight scenes you have it set to just have your background bigger then your work area right?
2) how large is your characters, the size the workspace looks is throwing me off when I remembered that thats the whole screen and I've had to restart twice now.
Thanks for the help your definitely my inspiration for attempting any of this.
1) Oh yeah. It's a hell of a lot bigger. The VCAM essentially renders the stage meaningless.
2) I generally only resize the "smaller" character if there is a size difference. I don't resize MK sprites at all.

This flash does a good job at showcasing your talents. You have a good amount of flair/detail in your flashes which is not in most other artist's stuff out there. This gives you an edge.
To be honest, I only found some of the shorts to be funny. It's still high quality animation though. I'm looking forward to Ep. 3. I think the vg exiles series is the best use of your talents.

There talking about a time traveling johnny cage in the new story of mk.
it reminded me of johnny cage in vg exiles....though he didnt "technically" time travel.
so what you think of mk stories?... i honestly didnt know there was 1 till someone told me noob is really subzero dead.
I think MK stories are relatively well thought out. The issue with the early games was that they really didn't have enough memory to really delve into a complicated story.
I think that the story as revealed in MK9 will be awesome.

Nice. It honestly did a lot better than I thought it would. Guess people really wanted another one of these. I was honestly expecting a lot of overused jokes, but you did really good. My favorite was the ones with stryker and scorpion and the one with johnny cage. those were priceless. Good job man. Hope you make more later on.
