It's just too bad a lot of people don't like Stryker. Everytime I fight as him online, if the person I am playing against has a mike, they are like, "Stryker? Really???" I don't know why people hate him. Maybe because he's a regular guy with no mystic powers? My wife hates him because she says he's cocky. Hell I played against a guy who hates him cause the simple reason that he's a cop. I really like what they did to him for MK9 tho, making him into a action hero super cop like John McClane, to the stuff he says and his victory pose tho I find it odd that no matter who he kills their blood is red......

I saw Stryker coming, but I did not see Bison coming at all. Based on that one update you did where you posted a pic of Nash made by CE, I was thinking Stryker vs. Nash with one of them being evil, causing the discrepancy in the multi-dimentional universe, but what a pleasant surprise with Bison. He is one of my favorite villains in all of video game history. Plus even though he was a bitch to beat in Street Fighter II Special Champion Edition for the Genesis, I still found him highly underrated and under-appreciated.
The only way this would have gotten any better for me was if Kung Lao was the MK character, but I have enjoyed the way you've portrayed Stryker in your flashes, so this matchup shall be amazing.

Bison, for me, is the only Street Fighter boss worth anything. Gill and Seth? Clowns in loincloths. Bison's the real deal.
It pissed me off that Capcom basically threw the best villain they ever created under a bus in order to promote Akuma, the single most unoriginal, overrated, overhyped character in fighting game history. That's Bison's legacy - getting owned in one hit by the likes of Akuma. Fuck that.

Bison: Psycho Powered maniac, Ruler of his own crime syndicate from drug dealing, kidnapping to creating brainwashed super soldiers or creating said soldiers by other means and attempt to control the body of the strongest warrior.
Stryker: A cop who has faced powerful fighters with supernatural abilities, sorcerers,lizard men, cyborgs, freakish four armed beings, and has even faced gods themselves.
Since these two are gong to be from an alternate universe, I think this Bison will be very powerful and as for stryker, I'd say this version of him has abilities that even the most powerful being will cringe in extreme pain.
Can't wait for this to be released. :)

I would have to very strongly disagree. His sprites are, hands down, the most modular of ANY of the MK3 characters. No other Mortal Kombat character can even touch his sprites for variety. That includes all of the ninja sprites in one big pile.
Scorpion may have more sprites, but Stryker can do far more with his fewer sprites than Scorpion can. Good luck getting Scorpion to do a decent running clothesline without having to edit the sprites.
Nobody, and I mean NOBODY in MK can chain combos like Stryker. His large variety of spinning sprites make it possible to seamlessly chain almost any move he has into any other move. Smooth as silk. Nobody else has that.

So much time has passed since the VG2 was released. A lot has happened since them; I finished my PhD and have started a new job. And yet, despite my hectic life I do check back here on a monthly basis waiting for VG3.
You have whetted my appetite. And your promise for a game-changing flash animation is intriguing. I will be brutally honest in my comments when it's finally posted.
Stryker always seemed like a little turd to me, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt since he seems to be your favorite. Bison is a beast. Looking forward to a good battle.

Nope.
What will set this above all else is the complete cinematic package produced by CE-Rap. The story surrounding this fight will no longer be there just for the sake of having a story. In flashes past, a story was often overshadowed by the fight. To many people, the story is just a case of "let's just get this boring stuff over with so we can see the blood". Not anymore.
When you see it, just remember that this is only the beginning. We're just getting started...

damn...... i come here to check to see if veg3 was out or if u had followed thru and provided us with info and the first thing i see if the matchcard so i think u realesed it but then i read the text and found out ima have to wait even longer
ugh 2 weeks to get a small treat and then find out how much longer i have to wait for the main course
i still wait for the long awaited episode to come out and praying that its not gunna be so overworked on that it becomes a dissapointment i have seen many occasions where they overwork something so much that when its finnaly realeased its horrible but enought of that one thing i really want to know is i remember while u were still working on artwork with ur other friend i recall saying that u had already started working on episode 4 while awaiting for that artwork what happened to that and now that uve deicded to take a whole new change to ur seires does that mean that ur gunna have your gunna have to remake the work u did on episode 4?
The work I have done on Episode 4 will not have to be changed due to all of said work being sprite-based. The sprite work is still all mine.

It wasnt that I hated SFA it was simply the single player I couldnt stand, Competitivly Hell yeah, till SF3 came out. But Single Player, Where Bison Injects steroids before he shows up on screen, and if you block his psycho crusher, it still does as much as a regular super, was too much for me lolz

I don't mind that they did it when they did it. The early MK games suffered from memory limitations and pallet swaps were the best way to increase the character count while saving memory space. The developers were just making the most of what they had available.
Then, inexplicably, those pallet-swapped ninjas became incredibly popular. For some strange reason, people were drawn in droves to those simple pallet swaps. Don't ask me to explain that because I can't.
Once they had the memory capacity to do so, the MK developers gave the former ninja clones their own different styles and identities, something that Capcom never had the balls to do with their Shoto clones.
Now, having brought those ninja clones so far from their unoriginal roots, NRS pisses it all away with these "classic" DLC costumes and 99% ninja-related DLC content. Way to exclusively milk that nostalgia buck, dipshits.

The Difference between the ninja clones and the shoto clones is simply most of the ninjas had different special moves, and that made them that much better, same appearance different character where as in Street Fighter, They were pretty much carbon copies except for minor properties of their moves.

Oh I understand about the whole memory space thing. I'm just pissed that they are just focusing on the ninjas with the Klassic costumes. Hell I was a big Scorpion fan till MK9. I grew tired of his obsession with revenge. First it was against Sub Zero, then it was Quan Chi, then it was the Elder Gods. There is only so much revenge I can take before I mistake him for Ghost Rider.
Stryker was never my favourite but I knew he was a kickass cop, with just bombs, a gun and a baton, he can just whip everyone's ass.

Somehow I knew that Stryker would be in it. He appeared heavily in MK Failtality, and appeared in the easter egg short. I am a big Stryker fan ever since MK3 and was excited when he appeared in MK9. This fight was literally YEARS in the making. I've wanted this fight ever since I first learned that sprite fights were possible. The circumstances by which the two would meet have changed several times.
At the very beginning, they would meet in an unofficial sequel to Proxicide's series. Then they were scheduled to meet in my long-cancelled INVASION series. Now they're gonna meet in the Exiles.
No matter what happened, come hell or high water, these two were gonna throw down. I honestly cannot think of any other characters from their respective games more deserving of being headlined.
