love the idea of this collab! I vote for Cap. America to go into the hat. no one has EVER used him in any sprite based animation I've ever seen and his sprites from MvC are very nicely made

I'm a little iffy about not letting authors choose their own characters. If they end up getting a character they've never heard of and don't know shit about the character, it's going to make the fight crap if they end up using the character wrong. Sometimes Wiki can only help you so much.
But... whatever. I would love to join if there are spaces available.
Using a character one is unfamiliar with is all part of the challenge. Anyone can made their beloved characters look like badasses. Doing the same thing with a random pick? Even if it's someone they don't like or aren't familiar with? That's skill.

Here's a question. When you say no MUGEN sprites, your just talking about fan characters and original stuff specific to MUGEN right?
Yes. Most, if not all, of the sprites used will have been pulled from the MUGEN versions of these characters. It's the easiest way to get ahold of their sprites.
However, characters created specifically for MUGEN tend to be incomplete (or at least undercomplete). I'm not going to force another animator to use a hand-drawn character with only 115 frames. Some good ones like Dragonclaw or Ghostkick may be rendered invalid due to this rule, but it's the fairest way I know to work it out.

Twelve noted. I will say that I think he should be disqualified due to his ability to morph into other characters. Like Shang Tsung. Hadn't thought about that. Also, there have been quite a few Twelve fights in the past.
