Wolverine was a secret animator pick. Normally, I would give you Wolverine and let them choose another, but since you also mentioned Strider, he can be your guy.

I think JSDarkness was talking about Megaman X. He's a different character from Megaman, but is probably ineligible since I don't think X has been in a fighting game. He may have been at some point, but I don't remember.
